Graduation Information

We are preparing for the Class of 2026 La Entrada & El Sereno High Schools combined 
commencement ceremony, which will take place at Citrus Heights Community Center on Friday, June 5th, 2026, at 7:00 pm. Even if you graduated earlier in the school year, we hope that you will join us for this very special event.

Textbooks, Chromebooks, and Outstanding Fines 
Chromebooks checked out from any San Juan USD school may be returned to Ms. Carolina in Room 1 (office). Textbooks checked out from other San Juan USD schools must be returned (or fines paid), to the school from which the items were checked out. Caps & Gowns may not be picked up until all items are returned and fines paid. Email Mrs. Weinreich at Rose.Weinreich@sanjuan.edu if you are unsure whether you have outstanding fees or items. 

Guest Wristbands 
5 TICKETS PER GRADUATE. All graduates will be assigned the same number of wristbands to ensure distribution is fair and consistent. Wristbands will be issued during the senior checkout process.

Mandatory Rehearsal 
Graduates participating in the graduation ceremony must attend the rehearsal - no exceptions. Please arrive no later than 10:15 a.m. and expect to stay no later than 12:30 p.m. 
Event Attire 
Graduates should keep in mind that gown necklines are cut low enough to show a shirt or top worn underneath. Below are the guidelines suggested: 


Pick Out the Right Top 
Ɣ A collared dress shirt with or without a tie 
Ɣ A dress 
Ɣ A scoop-neck top with a modest cut or a collared blouse 

Pick Out the Right Bottom 
Ɣ Dress pants, nice shorts, or a skirt worn underneath the gown 
Pick Out the Right Footwear 
Ɣ Keep in mind the amount of standing and walking you will do. Make sure you are comfortable. 

Ceremony 
Graduates must arrive by 6:00 pm. The ceremony starts promptly at 7:00 pm. For guests arriving late, entrance will be delayed during the color guard’s presentation of the colors and the graduate processional. Air horns, confetti, balloons, food and drinks (other than water) are prohibited inside the venue. If balloons are brought to the venue they will be held in the lobby for pick up after the ceremony.

Diploma Pick-up 
Students will pick up their diplomas immediately following the graduation ceremony. Students not attending the ceremony may pick up diplomas from Ms. Carolina (Room 1) between June 8, 2026, and June 16, 2026.
